    Transfer case adapter mount failure...again

Could having one hub locked and not the other one cause enough stress to cause this? Maybe combined with worn mounts and a crossmember that is bent every so slighty. When I say slighty as in not noticable with eye but will not line up with bolt holes in the frame. Off less than a quarter of...

    Transfer case adapter mount failure...again

Dont remember the name of the company I ordered this one from, I just remember it came from New Hampshire, but this adapter has been in the truck for at least three years. I became very aware of forklift damage when the first one failed. I would think that any lift damage not addressed with the...

    Original dana 60 locking hubs?

This is kinda sorta related to his the thread. Has anyone ever broke the plastic turn knob on the lock out hubs? (the plastic piece that you actually put hands on and turn to lock or free) Can not find the technical name for it in the manuels. Can only that piece be purchased?

    Stalling

86 CUCV "stock" with the exception of doghead starter relay mod and GP controller card bypass, has ran fine for years but here lately has been stalling, only when cold and only after a sudden rpm change. Such as when fast idle kicks off, quick mash of fuel pedal and when stopping. And only...

    Wierd light problem...

Well new switch solved the problem but I would like to give a word of advice for the folks that think and act as I do. When doing electrical work on you vehicle always double check the blackout light switch. It will save yourself alot of headache and embarrassment.

cb radio install need some ideas

Above the sunvisors in the 1028 there is a small hole with a rubber plug. The actual use of these I do not know. But you can fish a coax cable through it down the back behind weapon mount out the bottom through a drain plug to the rear or as I plan to right out the top of the truck. The...
