M38 Hood numbers. Need an experienced eye!
The jeep is, I believe, a 1952 M38. Serial number plate behind passenger seat reads MC71029. On Wes Knettle's M38 Serial number Database, there is a jeep serial#MC71029, which was delivered on 6/52. Hmmm. Thanks for the welcome. I bow to your experience, and I have been researching this. One issue is that small airborne particles, whether sawdust or lead paint dust, remain suspended in the air for up to 30 minutes.
