Just won my first MV! A 1990 M923A2 from Fort Hood. -Have a few general questions.

I had the same priming and low power issue.. One day it wouldn't start and after hours of priming, it turned out to be a cracked fuel line. aua I replaced the fuel line and replaced the giant black fuel filter canister behind the driver side wheel with a Racor spin-on. Made a HUGE difference in...

I was Stuck in the mud

What was his name? We had quite a few people out there towards the end but I'll probably remember him. And if I could get your number that would be great if I ever get stranded again (but I think I learned my lesson this time)! Do you have any cool places that you drive your deuce? I'm always...

So how stuck was Frodo? I was searching around and saw he was stuck for 3 months?? Is that true?!

I was Stuck in the mud

I read about that somewhere on this site so I didn't try it. Didn't need to make anymore problems for myself! The truck doesn't like to go into low to begin with for some reason.. Easy to put the t-case in neutral but difficult to put back into high or low.

The truck was going through there just fine pulling out 4x4 pickups and jeeps from a 4x4 group until I wanted to get back on dry land.. I sure won't be going back there to pull anyone out again any time soon!

I have plenty of work to do on it now! But I don't mind, that's all part of owning a military truck right?:D

That log skidder still plucked me out with no problem! He had a 45,000lb winch on it!

Sorry I couldn't get the pictures to you guys sooner.. We were out there all day and night until a log skidder came along to pull me out! I wouldn't drop out on you guys! This website has been so helpful for any type of repairs and information on my truck! I don't know where I would "move along"...

Local wrecker quote is $600 bucks

I was Stuck in the mud

Wrecker companies don't like the idea of going down a dirt road.. Ive already had a 9500lb winch with a snatch block on it.. Moved about a foot! I'm going to try jacks and ramps next

Haha I don't think that change is needed yet After all it is the first time I have been stuck enough where the truck couldn't get itself out!
