Sounds like a party to me, I'll dust off my dictionary and just remember to do a few re-reads prior to clickin that 'post' button. Verified all the jets were clear prior to reassembly, pretty much by doing exactly what you stated. Poked that little red straw into every nook, cranny, jet, valve, and passage I could find in there and sprayed it clear. It is possible that some stray carc flakes managed to sneak back in though...
