Yes, I printed it out and have read through it. However, I did not see anything about the clutch pulley - or perhaps that is broadly covered by the "alternator is defective"... I will take it with me when I go to my son-in-law's to test everything.

Thank you! I am unable to start it yet, as I just reinstalled the radiator and oil cooler and need to refill fluids when I have time. First have to jack up front end and turn wheels 40 times, lol. However, that is the very next thing I will do once that is done.

I recently pulled a lot of the front off my M1097A2 to replace water pump and install mechanical fan upgrade. While I was in there I checked the generator and it turned super-smooth by hand, so it seems to be mechanically OK. With that said, my battery gauge lives in the mid-to-upper yellow...

Well, I replaced the incandescent bulb because it already wasn't working correctly... First thing I did was replace the blinker lever switch, which fixed nothing. Then I replaced the directional flasher module - which fixed everything, until it stopped working again after a day. THEN I replaced...

Yes, in the turn signal unit - the light that flashes to let you know you blinker is on. It currently just stays lit instead of blinking when turn signal is activated. I SWEAR I read the opposite - that there was an issue unless you put an LED bulb in there. I may just bite the bullet and go...

So, Kascar has an "aftermarket" flasher unit for like $70 and one for LEDs going for over $300. Why in the hell would anyone want LED blinkers that bad, lol? What is your opinion of just replacing all the LEDs (other than headlights, those are great) with incandescant? Any "common wisdom"...
