    Hi all, new here.

You are also destroying the preconceptions of this board I had by doing so. I kept hearing you all were a stodgy group of codgers....

LOL @ Desert Rat. Wouldn't have figgered a dude with as many military projects would be so, <ahem> in touch with his feminine side.   S'all good though.

LOL, yeah seriously. My understanding is that there is two bilge pumps in a duck, but the chassis and drivetrain is basically deuce. Also, I've heard that the propellar is a pto driven item... I dunno. Just wondering where I can get more info on the duck.

Ok, it does help. Now, what is the LDS427, LD and LDT engines. Wait, an LDT is a turbo'd engine.... But the rest? thanks.

    My deuce, Blue...GOT PAINTED!!!

Yeah, finally broke down. I gotta get this deuce thing tied up. Figure it out, figure out how unfeasible it is, and then prolly do it anyway... lol. But I keep on thinking about it, and thinking about it.... Now I can think out loud. Hopefully the newbie don't get flamed too hard, lol...

    Hi all, new here.

If you get the whole truth into print, I'll take one. And, if the tags are replaced, not a big deal... but I need to know that if I have a 64 deuce it's a Kaiser, without doubt, regardless of who went through it later. Also, what about model numbers? Are all deuces M35s?

    Hi all, new here.

I've seen that deuce chart before. And, after revisting it earlier today, I asked this question. If Kaiser had Jeep from 53-70, and I know they made the 715 from 67-69, that 67-68 number didn't ring true. Hey recovery, I maybe a DANB, but I dunno where the manuals section is on this board. I...

I did a search, but still wondering about ducks.

Ok, so I want to find more info on the DUCW. I saw one a couple months ago closeup. It looks like a deuce with a hull. However, it's got older axles (not the top load rockwells). Anyway, where can I go to find info on this? Has anyone converted a later deuce to a DUCW?

    My deuce, Blue...GOT PAINTED!!!

Tom, uglier than eel snot. [thumbzup] Looks good man. I'm kinda afraid of what influence you are gonna have once I start on a deuce. And, again, sorry bout Katie man. I guess you never really know, do ya?

    Hi all, new here.

Hey guys, I'm new here. I've been over on the 715 zone for a while, and if you go to the rides section here, I've put up a few pics of my 715. However, I'm wondering what were the years and model designations for Deuces manufactered by Jeep? Be it Kaiser, or AMC. I don't really...
