M37 Intake covered with frost under the carb

My '63 M37 starts and runs fine but once on the road it starts chugging and bucking and runs as if it's fuel starved. Fuel flow appears fine to the carb but I noticed that when it does this the area under the carb is covered in frost. ??

Eaton OH - Bringing our M4 Sherman back home!

Eaton, Ohio is going to get our M4 Sherman tank back to its new home on September 23rd. There will be a parade to welcome it back and escort it to its new home. I've been asked to bring my M35A2 to join the parade and was wondering if anyone local would be interested in joining me with their...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Removed the driver's seat and the passenger bench. Installed a couple of air ride seats from a donor semi tractor. They look good, work good, and I now have a space in between them to fab up a console.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Cut out the rusted bottom of the battery box and made a new bottom from aluminum diamond plate. Installed a third battery for the new 12V system and added a 12V alternator using TMAMERICA's brackets. Added a switched voltmeter to monitor the system voltage. Brackets and system work great. All...

    2013 Haspin Discussion Thread

For our rally last fall, the campground was closed. I was told it was they were trying to get grass established down there. Also, last fall was very wet and muddy and they did not want us rutting it up with our trucks. Does anyone know for sure whether it will be open to us this summer?

What did you do to your deuce this week?

They are military 24V with hi/lo beam lights. Not LED's, but they are brighter than the truck headlights. I think they're lights for M60 tanks. Got them from Doc Farmall.

    Extra storage

Great idea! I like the idea of using the area occupied by the pioneer rack for hanging a storage box. Added to the list.... [thumbzup]

    Sprag Transfer Case

The loud bang is the energy bound up in the driveline suddenly releasing when the sprag disengages. I have a sprag system in my deuce and have had this (loud bang) happen if I let it roll back while the tranny is in a forward gear and fail to release it before continuing down the road. Since...

    2013 Haspin Discussion Thread

That's a fact for sure Dan! And that stuff dries like concrete and tends to become a permanent fixture. I got most of it cleaned off...and figure I'll just bring whatever's left on the truck back next summer. The 13th is as good a time as any for me.

2012 Fall Haspin Rally 2 Multimedia Thread

Bunch of us had a ball at the John Deere demo. I was impressed at their capabilities and ruggedness. Those machines were a lot of fun.

2012 Fall Haspin Rally 2 Multimedia Thread

Some more pictures. It was great getting to see everybody and even though it was wet, cold, and muddy we still managed to have a good time. :D

2012 Fall Haspin Rally 2 Multimedia Thread

Helped Sparky change a bunch of studs on his front axle right after we got there. It didn't take long to turn the duals into super singles in the mud!
