Yes, those drag link ends.
I'm assuming they are different from the tie rod ends (which can be sourced easily as ES431L / ES431R, according to this thread).
Anyone aware of a commercial part numbers for the drag link ends? P-12877-KL0 or 12877-KL. The drag link itself is 12650 REV C. I see a full unit on the bay, but I really just need the ends. Thanks!
I was on the wrong track. The issue turned out to be a stuck blend door or maybe actuator. I don’t know exactly because rather than tear apart the dash and try to source the part, I had a coolant shutoff added so the heater core can be bypassed entirely. This worked and I have cold air now...
Gotcha! So from the connector to the compressor. Thanks. I need to buy some longer probe wires.
I'll check other distributors to see what they say. Ranshu in Reno said they're not really open to the public, but the guy working there still tried to find the part. Order minimum was still an...
On a second test the clutch does engage when the pressure switch connector is jumped. I must've been doing it wrong the first time. I'm not sure about the continuity question - from where to where?
Yes, Red Dot sells that switch for $250! Pretty wild. Especially if a 3 year old copy is broken...
My AC was working one day and not the next. R134a pressures look fine at rest using manifold gauges, so I don't think it's a leak. The compressor clutch does not engage. It does engage if I manually give it 24v from the truck batteries. That pushed my attention to the low pressure switch or...
This thread saved me today so I wanted to pop in and say I also have a bad solenoid in an M1083 and can confirm that giving it a good whack when > 205 degrees releases the valve, causing the engine fan to turn on. Replacing the solenoid soon (found it on fee bay "Parker 8204 0459-45 24v-dc...
coachgeo & simp5782 - thanks! I think the tire shops assume I have the one piece rubber type when I say "run flat" while it turns out I have the type that disassembles -
No, I'm not sure. This photo has been described to me as a steel run flat (which would be a lot different from all the examples I've seen on YouTube). What do you see?
How would you remove and install a run flat on 46" tires with those tools?
There must be a shop out there that has a machine like this:

... though my tires are bigger.
Thanks for your response. Indeed, I was thinking have the run flats removed from the current worn tires and installed on the new tires. I'm gathering that is a tall order.
I'm all over the map. Must've been at my sister's in TN when I registered. I'm in Charleston, SC at the moment (with the...
Hi all - first post! I'm the owner of an M1083 expedition truck as of a few months ago. It's time for new tires, and I want to find a way to keep the run flats installed. The local heavy tire shops here in Charleston, SC will not deal with run flats. The two most likely candidates (one...
