Went up to silver lake for a couple days with both 1009s (each has 3.73 gears and 37s)both trucks made the trip flawlessly. Including climbing the dunes lol. Great trip.

I picked up a set of take off 37x12.5 bfgs put em on some 8.25 rock rims and gave the bumper a little trim job ...all I have to do now is test it out haha
700r4 gear ratios: 3.06:1 1st 1.63:1 2nd 1:1 3rd od 0.70:1
th400 gear ratios: 2.48:1 1st 1.48:1 2nd 1:1 3rd
The lower first gear in the 700 makes it good swap when combined with a high axle ratio such as a 3.08, and there is nothing wrong with running 1500 rpm at 65 if you need more power it...
