    M101A2 shock replacement

I had mine loaded to the top of the wooden rails hauling off the remnants of a shed I tore down. 2 heavy loads. The trailer rode great with the new Monroe shocks. Zero complaints here.

    M101A1 project for a JKU

On the back for the tailgate, I just tied in a bit of chain so when I let down the gate, it hangs even with the bed. On the tongue, I cut off the old hooks, added on some more safety chain and new smaller hooks.

    M101A2 shock replacement

I didn't get any side by side pics, by they are basically the same size, they might have just a bit more travel than the originals.

    M101A1 project for a JKU

Won it last week on govplanet.com and picked it up today over in Texarkana. Looks to be in decent condition. Aired up the tires, pulled it about 20 miles and checked the hub temps. They were both fine. Pulled it down I30 the most of the rest of the way home. Pulled and tracked nice. Plans are...

M101a1 Axle swap with electric brakes, retaining parking brakes

Which 3500lb axle are folks using on the M101A1's, the ones with 3" tubes or the standard 2 3/8" tubes? Any special u-bolt kit if using the standard 2 3/8ths tubed 3500lb axle?
