I'm looking for anyone in the Stratford Connecticut area heading to central Pennsylvania with room for a transmission pack for a lmtv / m1078. I'm trying to save some money on this repair project and I'm a little desperate.
Allison Transmission Tech says my transmission need rebuilt. If anyone knows where I can get a good used transmission please let me know. Otherwise I'll have a good parts truck for sale.
The Allison transmission shop just called asking me if I knew where the output shaft sensor was. Any ideas I already replaced the sensor near the bell housing.
For arguments sake I checked the fluid level all was good. But it did smell a little burnt which is odd since it was changed only a month ago (less than 500 miles).
My transmission will not engage at all. The trouble code indicates that output shaft sensor. I be already checked the wiring harness and replaced the sensor and batteries. I now have a replacement TCU. I'm considering looking for a good used valvebody with solenoids to replace the ones inside...
I have an item that needs picked up from Oklohoma City and delivered to Harrisburg pa (I can meet anywhere in the area) it's one pallet and weighs about 230lbs
Can someone please tell me how you routed the belt in this install on a 95 m1078. Or where you got the drive pulley for the crank shaft? I'm completely lost on this part.
