Was in the process of changing the coolant in my m1009 , noticed what looks to be oil in the coolant. No coolant in oil and no white smoke. Back flushed several times with clean water. Water clear until I ran the engine. After cooling down the water got dirty again. Suspect heads. Any thoughts?

The electrical diaigram shows a 4 pin relay. When the drive toggle switch is pulled up it latches the relay that turns on the drive light. When the switch is pulled down it turns off the light. Don't know why the relay is needed.
Replaced my pump with AC Delco 43-254. Noticed my pump pressure went from 7 to 9 psi. Is this pressure ok for the injector pump? Old pump looked like original, thought I better replace it due to age.
You are right, not fun. Just got finished replacing mine. Anyone who says its not hard has never replaced one. Did remove mounting plate and put stiff grease on push rod and it did not move. Used Permatex ultra black rtv on both gaskets. But still a pain in the but. Hope I don't have to do it...
Fluidampr makes a HB for the 6.2 and 6.5 diesels. I put one on my M1009 and it really smoothed the vibration. If you don't have the coin for the Fluidampr then get the AC Delco part. They are available from Rockauto and will run you about $120. I would not use the Dorman. The AC part has 7mm of...
