OK, so now I've got spark......I think! Is it possible that the fly wheel or crank has been changed so that when at T.D.C., it ISN'T getting #1 cylinder to TDC, but another cylinder instead? -

Help someone! I can't get spark from my distributor when In place. However, I get a great spark across the points with the distributor cap off and a hot wire to the distributor and grounding the base to the frame. Put the military cap on, install it, and no spark. What gives? Give me a little... -

re: M43/spark Let me ask a question. To hot wire the distributor from the battery direct, do I need to come off both positive posts of each battery? -

I'm very frustrated! I can't get my M43 to spark. The wiring is in ruff shape and I've tried to feed juice directly to the distributor. Still no spark. I've taken the distributor apart and all connections are fine and show continuity. New coil, condenser, points , plugs rotor. I've fed juice...
