I realize this is a VERY old post but hoping someone can show me pictures of how to do this mod? Connecting the vacuum pump directly to the trans line. My m1009 is shifting hard and always has. Also, lately I have to get the rpms super high, then let off the gas, to get it to shift.
What is the normal amp draw on an M1009? I had a parasitic draw. Found it to be the Alternator wires not being connected fully. Since fixing that issue....what is the normal amp draw supposed to be at?
Can I get the measurements of your rack's mounting spots please? I like the way it looks and am needing someone to fabricate one for me..the cucv is not with me at the moment.
How many rolls of Rattle Trap did you need for the entire M1009? Do you have pictures of the front and cargo completion? What did you put on top of the Rattle Trap when you were finished?
I am wanting to take my arctic kit out of my 1985 M1008. I have no use for it. How do I take it out....as in, what are all the parts that need to go with it for someone else to install in their own CUCV? How much are they worth?
How do you get the darn gear out of the tcase? my peedo stopped working one day. After turning the pin on the cable by hand that didn't seem to be the issue. So I removed the gear reduction and connected the cable directly to the tcase...it works but is shaky and around 5 miles slow when showing...
I actually have not tried the heater yet...not exclty sure how to use it yet. I was hoping maybe someone could tell me. There are some unmarked switches and I hve no clue what they are for. I plan to lift it and put bigger tires on it..not sure if I;ll be adding the plow back on it right away.
I can usually find some guy to help me.....the advantage of having breasts and an a$$...but I'd rather do it on my own for the shock and awe effect..."YOU did this?! You're a woman!"...
