Called around and 3 pad is all they make now there are no more 6 pads. the new 3 pads are made HD for diesel apps

so your sure the 3 lug is not the correct one?

napa and oreillys said this is the diesel converter. they both told me they dont make 6lug anymore. This 3 lug converter is listed as for any 6.2 diesel with a TH400

well the new th400 stopped pulling at all so i guess the shifting issue was a bad transmission for the 2nd time. 2 dead th400s maybe i need a 4 speed manual.

a th400 that was mated with a np205 has a 4.5 in tail a th400 mated with a np208 has 2 3/8 tail
