Looking for seat hinge trim covers for 1985 CUCV 1009

Actually, I found the driver's side cover at the same place I got the hinges, (it probably was taken off my hinge!). Should have it in a few days. But, thanks for the encouragement!

Looking for seat hinge trim covers for 1985 CUCV 1009

I have installed reclining hinges on my CUCV front seats. They did not come with what I suspect would be plastic trim covers. I understand the government specified seats for this CUCV 1985 1009 were Camero seats. I got mine with non reclining hinges which also did not have covers. Can anyone...

What have you done to your JEEP today

Thanks for the response. I suspected just that answer. I hope I can find the connector myself. Best with your projects!

What have you done to your JEEP today

Nice job. I've located a 24 volt battery charger and want to access my slave receptacle myself. Where did you find the male plug, and what are you using for a 24 volt power source?

    John Vetter, February 26, 1943 - June 16, 2021, aka: ReoRider

John Vetter, of Glover, VT left us on 16 June, 2021 after a long battle with a rare blood disease. Many of us knew him as a long time member of this community. His Stuart tank, 57MM cannon, 2 pounder cannon, armored car, Plymouth staff car, and on and on, are familiar sights at many gatherings...

Anyone make alternate uses of this bracket?

A single rifle mount would work, and be easier to get to than the one behind the seat.

    Possible glow plug problem

Thanks, folks. After viewing another more recent thread with the same problem I got a new relay and all is right with the world, or at least with the glow plugs. I understand what you're saying, Tinstar. However there are a lot of things to learn, and if a post here gets me going in the right...

    NAPA ST85 vs. ST85SB

When I called NAPA they said they had the ST85 in stock. When I got there there was an ST85SB on the counter. Said his inventory was off. I questioned the difference. He said it was a good, better, best thing. ST85 being best and ST85SB being better. Cured the problem. Thanks for the advise!

    Possible glow plug problem

Thanks for the input. Batteries are fine and it cranks as it should. I'll get under the hood and check out your suggestions. Where is the glow plug relay located? I see a small round one at the upper left of the brake master cylinder that appears to be it. Correct? The vehicle has been...

    Possible glow plug problem

I've had my M1009 for less than a year now so I still have a lot to learn. Some time last fall when I attempted to start the engine the wait light remained on. Usually it goes off in about 15 seconds. Eventually it started; I don't remember if the light went off or not before starting. After...
