I built a slip yoke cv rear shaft using a ford F350 front shaft. Works outstanding. Im not sure what I want to do with the front, but I will figure it out.
Installed a set of 39.5" IROKs and Mickey Thompson wheels the other day...
I was able to minimize fender trimming by using zero rates up front and pushing the front axle forward 1.5". Only had to clip the front edge of the front fenders.
Winch rebuild wasnt bad. Got to try the winch once. 03 duramax crew cab sunk to the frame. Tied the truck to a telephone pole and the winch never groaned. Definitly a strong unit. Thanks guys
Winch power hookup. Works great. But bad news. Winch motor appears to be bad. Have to hit it with a hammer to get it to start, and when it does, the motor is very slow to begin with then speeds up. Now to disassemble it.
