Just picked up my 1167 and it appears the valve has been removed. Judging by how dirty the motor was im sure the lines need pulled and cleaned. Did anyone have a part number for a valve replacement? Or any advice to make life easier before digging into this AC adventure?

Just got 1167 it looks like the valve stems have been removed from my AC lines probably to drain system when decommissioning it... any way to clear the system of dust and dirt or do i need to replace the lines?

My 400 amp alt on my M1167 is missing the voltage regulator. Is there a specific one I need ? does it have to be the dual voltage or will a used 28v work?

Yes auction. I'm planning on there being some issues for sure. What I know from pictures, missing speedo, thermostat housing was removed, hole in oil filter, missing break fluid reservoir. I assume it was used for some parts. Body, interior, steering linkage looks good so I took a chance...

awesome! maybe mine will be the same. I've heard of them cutting the lines. they put a hole in my oil filter (I was told to drain the oil) God only knows what exactly Ill be dealing with until I get it. 1165 ( not in running condition) slant back 2009 6.5 T. Paid $4k Hopefully worth it.

waiting on my 1165. How bad is the demilitarization process on the AC units? Any idea what I should expect? I assume all the lines will be cut.

I couldnt agree more!! The comments in the videos are great questions and I always look for them. Although never answered! Seems like it would be as easy as a direct bold up with an LS fitted with a stand alone EFI and your in. LOL in a perfect world. Do you recommend a rebuild on the 6.5...
