I know this thread is as old as the hills - but a question, none-the-less. Can I just rattle can the black and brown after a complete green air compressor/paint gun job. If yes - it looks like the camo wasn’t “taped off” except maybe something between the black and brown.

Batteries and alternators seem to be right
- on to cleaning, new top seal, cleaning, replace back window, cleaning… at some point prepping for and then paint
The alternator shop put in a new regulator, rectifier, and a condenser (the condenser was not previously replaced) in the factory alternator #2. I’ll put it on the truck soon - fingers crossed.
My plan was to replace the starter and have -what I guessed was- the original rebuilt. I prefer rebuilt originals.
What came off (picture) was the smaller gear reduction type. I read Chevy started using these in ‘88, so now I’m thinking this might have been a replacement and probably no need to...
Scotch blocks are out - need to repair a couple of wires.
Found the brake switch. Little white nub is in with brakes not applied out when applied. I’ll pull it out and check it - probably tomorrow’s job. Thanks for pointing me in what I, too, believe is the right direction.
