The truck starts off 24volts doesn't it and the 12v is for accessories and random components? I was going to have two batteries for starting and the other 4 for 12v accessories. Is this not common?

Sorry but no. I had surgery and haven't been able to do anything. I am taking my LMTV to a shop because I can't do the work on it now. They are supposed to have it all in by next spring. I have them doing alot of other stuff for me as well.

Maybe you could route the exhaust to under the bed and have it come out the back of the lmtv. You would need to weld under the bed shut to make it airtight but our articulating trucks are made this way so the exhaust heat flows under bed to keep it warm so frozen loads of water and dirt do not...
