I will be there as well, outside in spots 81, 82, 118 and 119 if my memory is working, weapons racks, wooden crates, pelican cases, mil surplus. My buddy usually has inert ordnance, medical stuff and some really oddball surplus. Look forward to meeting a bunch of you. Dan.
My wife and daughter will be placing flags at the National Cemetery in Chattanooga, I will be working from Wednesday through Sunday getting setup to run a invite only MG shoot to benefit Wounded Warrior Foundation. WE hope to have a larger piece of land next year so that more people can come...
This was my first trip to Aberdeen, all I can say is great people to deal with running the show, met quite a few SS members, wanted to meet more but I was fried Wednesday night by the time we got set up, 50 years old and staying up for 40 hours straight isn't a good mix. We stayed until Saturday...
Glad you made it home with minimum issues, sounds like my truck is in very good hands. I will be picking up some more batteries this week, out of 7 M35A3's only one didn't need a set, then 4 for the 818, my battery bill is getting up there. Talk to you soon, and again I appreciate all your...
Have you looked at the M35A3'owners unite thread? That might give you a little better idea of how many here own them. They were very expensive a few years ago , prices have dropped as more became available. Yes some were sold to foreign govt. I own a few, some say they are ugly, some don't like...
Actually 3 serviceable trucks were sent to AM General to make 2 A3's. Best parts were used to rebuild with, except where new was specified. It was supposed to extend the service life of the trucks at a lower cost per unit than purchasing a complete new truck, didn't quite work out that way as...
I have been averaging 10+ on my A3's, well on 4 of them, the other 3 haven't been getting any miles put on them yet. I've been very happy with the mileage on my A3's. HTH, Dan.
I have 7 trucks with CTIS, that will soon change to 3. Great idea, just not with the system that they used at the time. I'm tired of chasing down leaks, playing with modulators and such. Hopefully I won't have too many problems with the 3 that work correctly, if so I will have 7 trucks that used...
They have also done this with Aimpoint, EOTech and leupold and Trijicon. I have had several customers who "got a killer deal" on their optic only to find out that they bought an inferior Chinese clone. Buyer beware.
Tomcata3, I did a google search on both filter elements and got several pages of results, filter world as well as several others. Try Napa or other truck parts places. I picked mine up at the local IH dealer. HTH, Dan.
It was delivered today, on time and in good condition, driver was a pleasure to deal with, great communication, zero problems. Great doing business with you Eric. Thanks again, Dan.
Well yeah, I did get a little excited over the Stryker, oh and it was 18 degrees as well. Here is a pic of the M454A3/M35A3. I also have 5 M35A3's sitting there, the other one is in for paint, tires and PM.
Got my buddy's M35A3 delivered today, thanks Eric. Good looking truck overall, even if it is an M454A3. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/transportation-needs/61443-m35a3-m454a3.html
I really tried to get the truck driver to leave this with us as well, he said the military might get upset with him.
