Gottlos, thats good news for me on the tires will save money on not buying new rims! haha. just to clarify, the steering box reinforcement should be done if you are running larger than 33" tires? or even with those you should?
Cucvnut thanks for the explanation and i was looking at those...
First off I apologize for asking any question that has been addressed, I have read page after page on SS and other websites about lift kits and what people did with their truck, etc. If Im asking an obvious question Im sorry, my head is so numb and I am so confused I really cant seem to make...
Okay, so my laptop with all my tech manuals on pdf decided to battle liquids and lost miserably, now I am lacking all Tech Manuals for my M1009...I click on the resources link and then Tech Manuals but it never takes me to anything resembling them it takes me to "recent posts"...can anyone...

Thank you all for the input and help! I fixed the problem!! The driver side alternator which when tested at Advanced Auto and tested good was the problem, not sure why it tested good but when I bought a new one and replaced it, the front battery was charging at at 14.5volts with the engine...

The problem I have is my fuse for the lights, in my m1009, melted. I was able to put another fuse in there to drive home from school for Thanksgiving but since...
Okay so winter is soon approaching, i killed two 750CCA civvy batteries last week trying to start my CUCV. I believe I am having a fuel pump issue, or a glow plug issue will check more on it tomorrow. However, not to get side tracked i got two other batteries to start the truck then charged...
I dont, mine had a 2Flu brass one which I needed to replace and I got a 3Flu brass...Aluminum is much cheaper, and cools faster/ keeps cool longer...However, it is much more difficult to repair.
