    MEP803A ground mounted belly tank

to be clear, you're looking for an auxiliary fuel tank to mount beneath the MEP that also has a drip tray?

Generator install & fix up thread

I replaced the belt, belt looked to be in decent shape. Tightened belt and noise has gone away. I purchased 2 belts, so I have a new replacement on hand, and in a pinch I have the old still if I ever needed it. Additionally I went through and tightened hose clamps on the lower radiator hoses...

Generator install & fix up thread

its a reset with 1400 hours. I went ahead and bought 2 replacement belts already. Belt only is noisy on startup, I’m guessing that’s when there is most draw on alternator causing the old belt to slip. I’ll closely examine the belt and look at any alignment issues too. But I figured it won’t...

It runs perfectly after calibration! thanks Kurt for the help and for such a great product! now to figure out my belt squeal on startup and my coolant leak..

I haven’t yet. I’m confident that’s my problem though. I was unaware of that function of the control card. I’ll calibrate and report back

Generator install & fix up thread

Gentlemen! First, the good: got my 803 semi installed. My current setup is temporary until I get my 12’x20’ shed built, at which point I will move my generator in there. I went with @kloppk ‘s remote start and Generac board. Installation was easy and he was quick to respond when I needed...

How do you move your generator(s)?

I love this idea! My garden tractor doesn’t have a 3 point but I can put a Jack on it. What’s you use for the axle? I tried to send you a message but I don’t think I have enough posts yet

    MEP 803 stencils

I am recreating the font that was used in mine. A bit painstaking and definitely overkill. Like I said earlier, I’m pretty certain the stencils used on mine came off of a Marsh stenciler (at lea at same font). It would not surprise me if someone on the forum has one just cause they’re cool...

    MEP 803 stencils

I used a laser cutter to cut the stencils. In my research it looks as though the used a Marsh Stenciling machine to make the stencils. very cool tool. I have tracked down a font (Just search Marsh stenciling font) that looks similar but not exact. I don't know font definitions very well, but...

    MEP 803 stencils

Hey gents, I found artwork for stencils here: https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/generator-painting-and-stenciling.193532/ I cut them out and compared them to my genset and the font is different. Could this be a case of mine being a reset?

Required spare parts to keep on hand for MEP 802/803

thank you for this suggestion! I plan on doing nearly this. I will make a version for SS but also an excel sheet that can be shared. I also want to include page numbers in TM’s, links to YouTube videos, and links to SS pages where replacing that specific parts is discussed/shown. I will do a SS...
