Portsmouth, VA GL location has unused heaters I've been eyeballing. Never seen any surface around here. Just curious if that's a route of travel anybody takes. H81's are slightly smaller but roughly the size of a mep802

On the subject of solargizers, do they have any drain on the battery when not exposed to the sun? I know my 12v battery maintainer warns against leaving it connected to the battery if not plugged in to AC.

The price trend has not stabilized. Just last month in Missouri M923/5a2's all sold from 3 to 6k. Does the Military still have a large surplus of m939 series trucks? I can see the price trend go up as the stock runs low.

I'm new to GL and SS, just learned the ropes. Time to start over again with GP(govplanet...) This explains the lack of trucks on GL this month? Perhaps this will keep bid prices inline with GL auctions since a 'professional' inspected non viewed truck has as many risk as an amateur viewing...

If you're on a budget I noticed a lot of owners can get refurbished Series 31 batteries from interstate from around 50 each.

nonpro, did you ever get this truck up and running for your fire Dept? I apologize for digging up an ancient post but this was the most recent I could find for an R-11 refueler. They still show up on GL from time to time.

I'm not qualified in the forklift area. However if the battery pack is indeed dead could you not buy six marine deep cycle batteries and wire them in a series parallel configuration to obtain 36 volts? I know the charge would not last as long but I figure most here just want to complete one...

I can take the long way home in the next few days and check. lol
