Ok Tryed to jump it nothing. Does the ignition have to be on to jump starter? So would that be the starter? I looked around in at the relay. Metered out and Im getting 12v. I made a jumper and tryed to jump red and purple and nothing. I am really not taking this to well. I dont think any problem...

a quick idea for your ground rod. When we cant get a ground rod in at the correct length due to soil conditions, most inspector/and code book which doesnt apply to you, but dig a ditch 6"-12" deep and lay the rod in horizontally... can cover.. quick and easy....
First off I havent been on here in a while. Miss this site, but between work and loosing motivation on the CuCv. Almost gave up on the cucv. Couldnt get it started,still cant. tryed alot of things still didnt fix it. Would crank but not turn over dont get the glow plug warm up light. blah...
OK i did the 12v. swap. But now I get an arc at neg. when reapplying the ground,and the engine trys to turn over.
i pull the starting relay, reapply the ground/neg to the battery, still get a spark..
Any suggestions would help.
