one other thing i for got to mention i used stp diesel injector treatment in it for some odd reason could it be the cause? some people have said it not good to use those fluids in some diesel engines?
I recently bought a m1009 with 13000 orignal miles and i have a few questions 1st is i think i have a bad injector front driver side its the only one that wetness around it and then the other day i had pure diesel in my drive way. i popped the hood whiles it was running and it was leaking well...
Question on my battery cable that goes to the starter there is a metal piece that seems to bolt to the frame is it supposed to be bolted to the frame ? what would happen if it wasn't ?

parts trucks my question is will the wiring from say a 1008 or 1009 work with my 1028? is it just the m1010 that's different?
are most of the parts are interchangeable?
as far as the glow plug system goes get this i had some starting problems a while back and i asked this diesel mechanic to fix it and he did then he told me that my glow plug module was bad even though it worked fine before that and he did a bypass with out my consent with a push button can you...
