It's been a real blessing having this forum to mine, lots of good info and help for new guys like me. I totally ripped that coolant filter idea off somebody on here, don't remember who ... I did use the correct Cummins part!

I cleaned out the coolant system, had to replace the shutterstat (stuck open) and realized my coolant was brownish green, had what looked like dirt and rust in it. So, I flushed it with some FleetGuard Restore and some Restore Plus, replaced the water pump+belt added a coolant filter and...

I have had recurring front axle seal leak on passenger side. the inner axle was pitted pretty badly under the seal lip. I used a Speedy Sleeve SKF99212 I had to make a 'tool' to install the little tool they supplied fits in a 2" NPT union sso you can cut off the end after you JB weld it in...
