thanks for the video and thanks for the pictures.
It looks the same with my M1008 and I have vibrations while driving.
Found some videos showing where to find the angle.
I'll try it out and then order the right shims
At ORD there are max 6 degrees shims and there is a big difference between 2...
Hello everybody.
I have installed a 4 "lift kit on my M1008.
Skyjacker leaf springs at the front and an ORD shackle flip at the back.
but now the angle of the axis or the cardan shaft is no longer correct ... shims must be installed.

Or how can I measure...
Hello together
I look for mounting plates and round u-bolts for the rear leaf spring, where can i find this?
Actually there are mounted square u-bolts.
I want to assemble the nuts above.
Thank you .... I have not ordered yet
Here I found a link where the spring rate of various 4 "leaf springs is listed.
If I understand correctly, then the SJ 4" leaf springs are harder than the 4" TC HD?
Hello everybody
Thank you for your help.
I looked at the lift kits at ORD and let me put one together.
For me it's more about a slightly better road conditions than good traction in the area
Hello
I wanted to order online at Summit.
I just do not know now, which shocks I should take.
The Hydro of Skyjacker are too soft for me (which have in my 2.5 "lift).
Have often read Bilstein B8 here, are these a little firmer?
Bilstein B8 front
Bilstein B8 rear
....i'm not sure about both...
Already a little older the thread
but maybe my questions will be answered anyway.
I would like a 4 "lift for a M1008, Skyjacker leaf spring front and blocks rear.
Would like the suspension a bit firmer because I drive more road ... 95%
The Skyjacker shocks are probably a bit softer, have...
Hello together
The torsion bar is fixed on all there points, with PU bushes, front shackles too.
The pressure is ~2.5 bar with tires in size 315 75 r16 (~35"), they are Hankook Dynopro MT
Harder leaf springs would be an option, but Skyjacker Kits are only with soft leaf springs.
Pro Comp or...
I want to order an 4" Lift Kit from Skyjacker for my 1985 K30.
But i'm not sure where the differences are between the shocks, hydro ... nitro ... black max ... m95 performance ......
Since I drive more road than off-road would be a little less soft chassis interesting.
Currently I have...
I repaired my pump.
With the help of this video:
https://youtu.be/Kh20qev5vyI
Since I did not have a bike patch, I roughened the area around the crack and then degreased it.
Then I lubricated Sikaflex from both sides, not too thick and not too thin.
Then let it dry and put back together the...
Hello together
I have the same problem with the vacuum pump in my M1008.
Temporary i fixed the pump with Sikaflex, a glue for car windows and windowseals.
I open the case, clean all inside and roughened a little bit the damaged part with sandpaper.
Than i clean it with brake cleaner and...
Hello everybody
I need some help.
On my M1008 I have now mounted 315 75 r16 tires and now the speedometer is no longer showing the correct speed.
On NP208 is installed a pinion with 44 teeth, color gray.
On the case are the numbers 40/41/42/43.
I would like to order from TCI Auto a suitable...
First thank you for the many suggestions.
Unfortunately, I have not understood Barrman so completely, sorry ... is my bad english :(
The skyjacket set is a bit too expensive, but it is certainly the cheaper set.
Currently I have 285/75 / R16 tires mounted on the original rims.
Would like to...
I am looking for a simple way to lift my '85er M1008 max. 2" or 2,5".
Because I would like to assemble 315/75/R16 tires, without cut the fenders.
I drive mainly street, terrain rather 2 to 3 times a year in an off-road park.
I thought to mount on the front longer shackles and rear blocks.
But...
