What did you do to your deuce this week?

Finished the fuel pump, primary fuel filter, and secondary fuel filters last month. Engine oil and filters tomorrow. Will try and do the transmission and transfer case in a week or two. Then I should be just about done, whoops........forgot the axles.

This M810, and the one next to it, were up on GP late last year in Michigan. 😍 If they would have been the next state over, I would have carried one of them home on my back.

Mike your were reading my mind. I was going to give you a call this weekend just to see how things were going with the Detroit, and It's looking good Mike! Just think, at our next MVCC Plymouth Meet, whenever that is? Word is going to get around of how much you accomplished with the 8V92, pretty...

    M38A1 YS 950S Carb Doesn't Fit

Looking good. My M38A1 didn't have an oil filter when I purchased it, so I took care of that right away, and it needs a fan shroud as well.

    M38A1 YS 950S Carb Doesn't Fit

DeetFreek, I found this one on Ebay several days ago. These dipstick tubes come with 0,1,or 2 vent tubes. I purchased one with 2 vent tubes as that is what most of the military M38A1 Jeeps seem to have. One vent tube has a hose to the fording device, and the other hose goes to the breather on...

    M38A1 YS 950S Carb Doesn't Fit

Here are the differences between the Jeep M38A1 valve cover on the left, and the Commercial Jeep (pick up, station wagon) valve cover on the right. As you can see, there is a greater relief on the right side center section of the M38A1 valve cover to clear the float bowl of the YS950S...

Yes, the bed is heavier gauge metal so you can sandblast the bed without hurting it. There's a lot of paint on your truck!

Steel Soldiers MV of the month 2020 - July VOTE HERE

Quaker, let me add to this and then I'll shut up. Pull your Glove Box and take a look straight up, and look at the seam between the window frame and the cowling. This is usually spot welded together on the newer trucks (mine is a 71) and water can seep between the spot welds and start to rust in...

Quaker, you probably already know this but just incase. That small hole right behind your left hand hood hinge is for your Hood Hook Assembly #7372767, there should be another hole outboard for the hook hold down clip. I'm bringing this up, as I had a leak at both of these holes on my truck that...
