All the manuals are posted on here - have you looked through them? THe front of TM9-2320-360-20-3 has a bit of troubleshooting but its a preface to the engine controller.

Yeah - Better have a lot of time, face shield, and wheels available if your going to do it with abrasive cutoff. Sawzall gets in a bind too much... SOme the the structure is 1/4" thick in there.
