Nice thanks for the advice, my linkage is pretty sloppy coming from carb to the transmission. So my up shift patterns are inconsistent. I am looking forward to the install of the reb. Thanks again
Bought a reb shifter for $100 good deal I think only missing a linkage rod easily made. Any advice from people who already have one? operating advice, installing advice. Warnings etc .much appreciated
Have a 1952 m211 just painted factory hard top and new doors, soon to rework hood. Need advice on star sizes on these parts. Don't want to guess wrong, I have them on the old doors and they look good . but don't know if they are correct. Help would be appreciated.
Here's what I was told by the nice guy at Alfa heaven. He said the xm211 had a high nickel frame and more reinforced frame due to cracking of motor mount area in early model trucks. After this mod was proven effective they dropped the "x" and it became m211. Nice people there at Alfa heaven.
the trip was tough from the first 5 miles, blew a cooling line to air compressor spewed coolant and steam everywhere ended up in lowes bought some brass barbed fittings and replaced the coolant line with some 3/8 fuel, started up engine and discovered that I damaged a rotten oil line feeding the...
sorry if this has been discussed already, I tried to search it out with no avail, can somebody explain the action of the front drive engagement in the transfer case on my xm211 I understand that it has a "clutch" of sorts but from what I can see by looking at diagrams it looks like it would not...
Getting hot on the road pull over and idle for 10 min she cools back down again, figure its a flow issue somewhere. It was in the 20's out for the trip thankfully.
