The plastic valve is notorious for breaking off inside

If the purge valves are dirty they can get stuck open and vent all the air out, worth checking

I would check the ac charge should be 3.8oz for a four man 1.7oz for two man. If the system isn't charged the fans will not come on. I would start there.

I had the same problem. Turned out the ground for the bumper assembly was bad and wasn't grounded to the rest of the vehicle. Ran a ground from the ground bolt above the driver's headlight and drivers step bracket. As long as you have continuity between the bumper ground mentioned and driver's...
