So the part of the pump which varies the rate of injection for the type of fuel you are using ? I am running fresh pump diesel all the time, if it is this device causing the problem how do I "disconnect it" ?
My M35 engine sump has started to top up with fuel. Oil level is increasing on the stick and oil is looking very thin. At the end of the last 35 mile run out the oil pressure dropped to 15 psi at idle...it has never ever dropped this low before. Any ideas where it may be leaking from to get into...
Are you checking the fuel outlet to the injectors with the throttle fully depressed ? This will make a difference to the amount of fuel delivery, remember though it will only be a very small amount on each stroke, just enough fuel to "crack" the injector needle.
Far from reliable, until the Mk13a engine was achieved they were horrendous, pack changes were required regularly. Challenger 1 and 2 are far more reliable.
