If it was a calafornia title issue file for a lost title with california and the last owner can sign the title over to you. take a california title to DMV and register it in Tx.

$500 is a steal. It is worth twice that in scrap but if you scrap it your mother will disown you. parts are out there and it is a great pastime tinkering with those things.

Why not bob something a bit newer. The 211 is somewhat of a classic and yes parts are a bit of a challenge to find but they are out there. Parts trucks are seen all the time and parts can be purched from several vendors.

How can anyone bash a gasser. My 302 is a mechanics dream and I am sure the 331 is also a work of art. Those diesels are the ugly duckling of motors and if anyone bashes the diesel it will be no skin off my nose. OK folks......ya got my two cents worth. Let the fights begin...lol
