Guy’s I have a problem. My generator will not stay running. It is cutting out on no fuel. The thing is that’s it full of fuel, and fuel gauge showing full also. Do y’all think the float may be stuck? Haven’t had a chance to dig into it yet.

Take a look at the 804 TM , it uses a similar Dual float / Float Control module arrangement as the 802 / 803 does.
The issue is most likely either with the lower float ( possibly stuck ) on item 62 or an issue with the float module, item 71
But check the TM, I'm familiar with that issue on the 802/803 but not sure off hand if the 804 uses the exact same

I thought that the MEP-804A and B models have a mechanical fuel lift pump when running off of the main tank? I believe the only electric pump on those models is used for auxiliary fuel supply, unless I’m mistaken. But I suppose that they still have a shut-down for low fuel? In that case a faulty low fuel signal could actually be your problem. But I do believe that these models are known for losing their prime though. Leaky fuel supply lines can allow the fuel to return to the tank while sitting, causing the starting and stalling scenario at first start-up. You won’t see any external fuel leakage.

I believe ( or I thought ) what he meant is the machine is shutting itself off ( electronically ) due to a ( false ) Low Fuel indicator.
If that is correct, the issue is somewhere in the low fuel circuit, most likely either the float or the float module.
I don't think he is saying the machine is stalling due to a lack of fuel at the injectors.

You’re probably correct. His post was kind of vague. It didn’t say that he was getting a low fuel fault, but that’s more than likely what it is.
