MV of the month June nomination

Welcome to the June 2025 MV of the Month Nomination Thread!

To submit a nomination the rules are :

1. - You may nominate your own vehicle or another SS Members vehicle (please get the member's permission first). Do not nominate vehicles not owned by an SS Member.

2. - ONE good photo must be submitted with your nomination.

PLEASE POST ONLY ONE PICTURE AND NOT A LINK!!!

3. - Previous winning vehicles from the current year cannot be re-nominated.

4. - One vehicle nomination per member per month unless you nominate another member's vehicle...not your own. You can ONLY nominate ONE of your own. (It's to keep things fair).

5. - Nominations will close at 20:00hrs (8PM) on 15 June 2025 and the "Vote Thread" will open as soon as The Boss can open it. All times listed are Eastern Standard Times.

6. - Please do not "campaign" for your favorite MV on THIS thread...wait for the "Vote Thread" then have at it!!

No need to be self conscious guys, just because it isn't a show truck doesn't mean it's ineligible! To prove that I'll nominate two and a half ton Tilly the wonder Jeep, an absolute workhorse of rusty green iron. Who's going to run with her?

OK, I'll jump in with my M274A5 Mechanical Mule. The photo is from Thanksgiving 2024 and it was very cold that day. As you can see, my Grandkids love the Mule. That thing is a lot of fun and I also use it routinely on my 40 acres hauling rocks, firewood, etc. It really runs well and has electric start. No leaks, no strange noises and shifts well. I really like the 4-wheel steer in the woods, but I usually leave it in 2-wheel steer.

It being the 81st anniversary of D-Day I'll add my truck to the list...

that's rusty? you should see some of my "wonder-wheels" , everyone wonders how the fenders and doors stay attached !

about half the fleet are rescues from town and county highway depts that apparently don't know there's such a thing as a water hose

nice workhorse by the way , and so far i see nothing but major contenders for june !

@msgjd hmm you had me wondering, I had to go try some translations just for fun and umm well yeah I mean I don't know if I should be posting this kind of thing here right now or not .. but anyhow I came up with this 'friendly' swearing that seem easy for an english person to speak;

if i had said that portugese bit in french she would've flipped out with hot french words this world has never heard before, besides the usual cochon batard porc cretin etc , and the beat goes on

she had a good job of her own but expected me to eagerly(?) hand over my money without question

The first military truck i bought was the M51, I pointed it out one day as we drove past the sales lot .. She muttered french under her breath (it wasn't in a sexy tone that time) , and then threatens to divorce me if i bought it.. It took a few more years but she was true to her word

A very deliberate and determined mule that will go wherever it wants to go, IF and when it wants to.. Just like the M274 contestant.

Great, we have 3 participants this month, so far.

We have space for 7 more. Who´s next?
