Fuel lift pump on auxiliary switch

My lift pump hasn't worked since I got the truck, not sure why yet, but my guess is it's something to do with the keyed ignition wiring. My plan is to take wire 76 off of where it usually gets power and move it to my switch panel, giving me true control of the pump. If I find my pump is inoperable, this will turn into a really good "what to replace the pump with" thread. Til next time!

After a day of dodging raindrops, sorting wires, and reading, I found a post from 2014 that suggests the hack job seen here is mostly correct, with the exception of wire 1 being hooked to nothing and burnt to a crisp. I am going to repair it and connect it along with wire 15 (battery voltage) to my switch bridge and put the fuel pump, gauges, and pretty much everything associated with wire 27 on independently protected switches, with the exception of the front wheel drive lock switch as that functions properly. This should also solve my non exciting self exciting alternator problem. We shall see

Fixed, finally. One switch powers gauges and fuel pump, one powers the ignition switch, the other six are free. The alternator still doesn't self excite at draw, but as soon as the engine hits 1500-2000 rpm it's there. I'm happy for now. Truck runs like a top.
