I have some Michelin 14.00-20's you have for free, located just outside of Phx.
PM if you can figure a way to come get them.

Thanks for the offer, but the tires I've got only have 6000 miles on them. The truck is our neighborhood firetruck project and it is already a bit of a pita. I've probably made 40 calls to local tire shops and no one is interested. I called Roadcallexpress, and talked to Eddie. Seems like a nice guy and he told me he would give it a shot to see if he can fix it. Apparently his father is a retired military mechanic of 15 years, so I think he is famillar with the truck.
If you were within 50 miles I may consider to have another spare, but at the rate I drive the truck (3 miles a year) it may take a few years to wear out the tires I already have.
Interesting side-note: here in California, wildfire insurance is really hard to get and when you get it, it runs
$10k a year (that is what my neighbor pays for a 1700 square foot house). Before he moved into the neighborhood, I talked the other 2 neighbors to buy this truck and we put a 1600 gallon plastic tank on it, added a 13hp fire pump and water cannon and side sprays. My insurance was going to cancel me, untili I sent them a picture of the 6x6 firetruck next to my house......They saw that and said my insurance was ok same with my other neighbors. At $10k a year it doesn't take too many years to make the purchase of a re-use of an old firetruck (I think an airport crash truck would be the best).
