nice combo !

my fiance has a "normal" fummins , 2004 24-valve dually 4x4 Lariat pickup w/gooseneck hitch for her 40ft LQ livestock trailer, and a tuner for the VP44.. Fortunately it retained the ford 6-speed standard tranny .. The thing is a bear and sounds awesome .. We wanna hear/watch yours in action !! (y)

I'm on the fair board here and some years back, we even poured a special pad for the 'Truck Pulls", that lasted three years and they stopped coming. The pad is unused a waste of time and money. We thought of adding a class for trucks in the regular pulls that the tractors (modified and other including heritage and the rust and snore classes) but nobody up here shows interest.

Below is youtube video link for the pull: 285ft

The automatic transmission was the only thing that stopped me. Anyone heard of a manual swapped 5 ton A2 w/ 8.3L Cummins? Maybe next project

More specs on build?
1999F350 precariously perched atop a marvelous monster 5 ton 1992 M939A2 with 8.3L Cummins Turbo diesel tuned to the moon, blowing mad dinosaur bone clouds. Shifting thru them gears with the Allison 5 speed Automatic MT654 smooth like butter. But id still rather have an eaton 10 speed. We yanked that ol sled home in low gear with the Rockwell T1138 Transfer case. It still needs more big daddy rigging, we had to power probe the Tcase solenoid to release air, and use a pry bry to pull out on the Tcase push rod low/high...and jacked up rear wheels and rotate because it likes to be rolling to shift low/high.

Shout out TCAT Diesel
