Good day: The exemption is for military purposes, and PM MEP had to change due to emissions (settlement with the EPA folks) and parts availability. After Military use was not mentioned in this exemption letter, issued from the 5 sided shack but delayed AMMPS generators for almost 10 years of military budgets. The run out date is coming real soon if not already past . I'll look it up.

I was trying to say nicely good luck on getting that plate. Someone may have one so it is more original. Those engines were coded 2 by EPA and gave DOD time because of budget and the acquisition process (takes years) for a new item with budgets, and testing and vendor competitions with best effort contracts. A real mess. That's why you see B model 15, 30 and 60 KWs out there as they were a real offense according to the EPA. They saw TQG out there taking over the mil Standard gens so they only slapped the hands a little on those. Hey, M1 and Bradley's and new Aircraft Carriers were more important in the budget.
