Hello everyone,
Have a question for all those 5 ton guru's out there. My old unit up just received an old 5 ton M62 wrecker and it is in serious need of work. It used to be a gate guard, so no power pack in it. The cab is very rough, rust holes caused by exposure to salt air. My question is as follows: is a 5 ton cab the same as a Deuce cab? They look very similar but I have not yet broken out a tape measure to verify. If it is too far gone, how much would a bare cab with hard top cost?

I have found 2 manuals so far: TM-9-2320-211-34-1 and TM-9-2320-211-35. Was wondering if there was a manual directly related to corrosion control and maybe panel replacement specific to the M62?

Thanks in advance.

cabs are identical externally .. Hole locations for pedals , lines, wires, (and if gasser, starter switch) will be different or non-existant.. Deuce dash is also different than early 5T in same sense of hole locations for switches etc
