Thanks for the replies everybody! Toocool did those springs bring the truck back to the original ride height or did lift it? How well do they hold up to the wieght of the plow?
Thats kinda what I was thinking jdeoliveira74. I was looking at Off Road Desings zero rate add a leafs. Anybody used them? You will have to forgive me I'm pretty ignorant in the ways of the suspensions.
My M1008 frontend is starting to sag. It always sat lower in the front than in the back. The front springs have a slight negative arch which, from what I have read, is normal. Last month I installed a heavy bumper and a MileMarker 12000 lb hydraulic winch. I run 34x10.5 Super Swamper LTB tires...
I'm with Matt1031. Back when I was a heavy right footed teenager I have exploded many 10 and 12 bolt axles. Pulling the diff cover and looking for carnage would be my first move.
If you decide on a new one steer clear of the NAPA ones. I went through two. The first one ran really slow and smoked. The second ones washer motor didnt have enough umph to pump the washer fluid. I used a cheap aftermarket pump on a pushbutton to work around the problem.
Sorry to hear about the truck. I hope that it all works out in the end for you. Sucks giving somebody the benefit of the doubt and then getting burned. Hopefully the court system will give you justice.
I have a 1500 watt Kats tank heater. Thing works great. Use an outdoor timer to start it about an hour and a half before I go to work. We have had a few single digit mornings here and she fires right off after the glow plugs get done cycling.
Glad you've found him! Hopefully you get your truck back in decent shape! Nothing worse than being ducked by somebody that isnt enough of a man to meet you face to face. Good luck!
