I had a dry master cylinder--i filled it with fluid and bled the system from the power brake booster--the pedal came up but is hard as a rock--only goes down 1/2 inch and then seems to push up against my foot--there is almost no breaking--does anyone have any ideas--thanks george
I just sold two good trucks to members in SC off EBAY--The trucker came on a wet day and had alot of fun loading on a slippery deck--The 818 was loaded against the shop equiptment on the front--He did a good job getting everything to SC the next day--Good luck with your truck Cam--
I purchased five 818s through GL in New Jersey--the trucks sat for 2-3 years at the yard waiting for sale--the trucks all started with jumps but idled from 650 rpm on one and 900--1200 rpm for the others--when shifting these trucks the rpms stay around 1200 rpm and the rpm drop from 2000 to 1200...
Junkyarddreams--last summer the scrap prices went from $16/100lbs in july to to $3/100lbs in august for vehicles---did many yards go out of business getting caught with expensive inventory?
With the transfer case in netural how far and how fast can the vehical be towed--can the front axel be off the ground during the tow or will that wreck the transfer case--Thanks
Monmouth county auction--looks and runs good--the m37 went for $2200 and was listed as running--It was dented--rusted--no coil-points-belts-wires---everything was listed as running and 1/4 of the vehicles had no chance of running
I was listening to the engine today and the knock seems to be somewhere in the front center of the engine--Checking the balancer and vacume pump are great ideas-- How would I check the balancer---To check fuel knock do I crack the fuel line to the injectors--Thanks for all your help--George
Hi--Just purchased a cucv pick up--Starts fast and runs well but has a small rod knock--The place I got it said they used starting fluid on it --Is the small rod knock normal or should I change the rod bearing--How hard is it to remove the oil pan--Thanks George
