I hate to bring up an old tread but did anything happen with this? because I can sure use a rear cargo cover or something that looks / or works the same.
Thank you it was a nice read... you had alot of help from fellow SS members..... most if not all the Gama Goat parts are gone and scraped.. most parts dealers I've talked to scraped alot of kits and harness. It's kind of sad.. im just getting into this and I don't know if I can find what I'm...
Question.. is there any rear cargo covers left?? Someone said I think another's military trucks cargo cover could work is that true? But I can't find the topic on it can anyone help?
There is a Facebook group ive joined but no joy there also.. yes I have access to the 34 pdf but the diagram is messed up on the steelsoldiers web site.. the same with other websites they have the same issue... I guess my only hope is the real TMs I ordered a set but they are the 1980s version...
So looking at this again... and reading the 20P and 34p i can't find any part numbers on the wiring harness for the tractor. I see the diagram but it doesn't give me a number for the whole thing...can anyone help maybe I'm reading it wrong...
Also looking at the wiring in the engine...
Thank you I'm going to dig around in the next few days to see if I can find the oil pressure wire and the other alternator cable...
Does anyone know the wire number that has the packard connector that goes to alternator?
So the long cable goes to the alternator with the ring Lug on it..
Does the short thick cable attached to the alternator just hanging or is that a gound?
And where does the military Packard connector contect to?
Im looking at this picture
