I am getting ready to order new LEDs for my dashlights and need a little help, I am going through superbrightled.com and had no problem finding the 168/194 style bulb for everything. The problem is the -20p tm lists the voltmeter bulb as 1445 and I see no replacement for it. Is there another...
xylene is not avalable at lowes here, what is DA? We dont have a tractor supply here either so I am unsure about the hardner, is there another product I can look for or do I just need a paint hardner? I had not herd of that being needed with the Rapco paints.
I am planning on repainting my m1008 later this summer using Rapco paint, I am wanting to go 3 color camo. Do I need to prime the truck before I use this? The truck is currently red and black, I am wondering if the black it gona show through or require more coats? This is gona be my first try at...
Thanks for all the replies and ideas! I got a heat gun yesterday, they were on sale at harbor freight, and it works great! I took some paint off with the razor blade getting under it on a few places but I am gona repaint it this summer anyway so no biggy.
1ton, thats a good idea, I never thought of that but I think if I tinker with this a little more I have the potential for a little more RPM outa this than going your way
Thats what I was figuring on using it for, cold mornings, jump starts, and a wench when I get one. I want to try and get a little more RPMs out of it at the full position
I recently bought a hand throttle kit for a hummer on Ebay, as you can see in the first pic it came with all the brackets, bolts, etc needed for the instal on a hummer. It also came with a really nice set of illustrated directions. Needless to say the install was a little different than on a...
JH1, I tried the razor blade and it just breakes off in small pieces, There was also lettering on the doors and it came right off with a razor blade, no problem, this stuff is tough!
WB1895 thanks for the idea, I did not know there was such a thing, if heat does not work, I try that next.
I agree with this, energize the relay with 12v and run the 24v through the switch portion, as long as you dont exceed the amperage of the relay, you should be fine.
This is attached to the throttle assembly under the dash. It looks like a small rehostat or something. I didnt know if maybe it has something to do with the tranny kickdown or something but you have to be WAY into the throttle before it moves. I also didnt know if these trannys had any type of...
My truck was used by a fire dept and as you can see in the pics they put reflective tape down the sides of it. I cannot get this stuff off! I have tried glue gone, brake cleaner, contact cleaner and no luck. In the last pic you can see how the stuff just breaks off when you try and peel it. I...
I have been reading some of the threads about lifting that some ppl have done and I have a cpl questions. I have a civi half ton that I put a 4" lift and drop pitman arm on, the truck has been cross country several times and has always drove/handled great. My question is what is meant by a zero...
Great looking truck! I was wondering if you could post a little about your powdercoating, how you did it, where you got the powdercoat. I have done a cpl of fire arms with Gun Kote in the oven but did not know you could do small parts like that. Is there alot of odor? Also, please make sure and...

I got my AB-15 base and mast sections in today from fair radio and I am not impressed at all. The base is packed with mud and the mast stub is so rusted above the rubber sleeve that its flaking off in chunks, the ground strap and clamp are so rusted as to probably not be salvagable. The mast...
