Just found a 18" 5 ton steering wheel at Clark Equipment. I asked to confirm if this wheel would fit a m35. The guy didnt know and had to ask someone else. They said that 5 ton wheels dont fit m35's. I am wondering if its just a couple of guys that dont know any better.
Should I order it anyway...
I think the 5 ton trucks steering wheel is an inch smaller. That and the air assist is all I can think of. I am thinking of going to the 5 ton wheel because of my belly also.
Do the hard top's cave in on the top from just bumping down the road or does it take some pressure from someone's fat $%^? I am wondering if I should reinforce the top before I install it.
Thanks.
It turns out Matts a good guy.:) I sent my son up there to pick the top up and Matt gave me another top for free:) It needs a little work, but hey. Two tops for 200 bucks!:-P
Hey, guys. I installed my Air O Matic kit this weekend. I got it all installed finally. I had some 41 year old parts that did not want to come apart. :) Anyway when installing the caps on the drag link I had a problem tightening up the end cap. This is the end closest to the axle. It was...
I was thinking of going with a Holley (black) or (red). I dont like carter pumps too much. They came stock on my generation Dodge truck. These were prone to fail and in doing so cause the death of a $2,000.00 injection pump.
So no one has come out and said it, but I am getting the idea that...
Glad you were not near it when it blew. I was welding on one of our work trucks near the battery (I know -stupid). Welll the battery exploded and it sounded like a canon went off. It spewd acid 20 feet away. This was just a regular car sized battery so I can imagine what one of yours...
I just found that my lift pump is not running. The truck runs great and gets up to a thrilling 56 mph. My questions are am I going to ruin my injector pump by running without the lift pump? Also has anyone used a civilian inline pump as a lift pump? If so how did that go?
Thanks.
Very nice! Even if you dont use them for back up lights they can come in handy when working behind your truck at night. I wish I had lights on the back of my work trucks, but I have too long a list of projects and too little time. :)
