    Weight rating for 5 tons

    It registers just like any civilian vehicle. If it’s over 14k GVW and diesel you have to register it with the Air Resource Board. There are certain programs in CARB you can register these old rigs with. Mine is under low use. Meaning I can’t go over 1k miles a year.

    Does anyone know what the actual weight rating is for each axle on a M923A2? The factory data plate states that the front is 9,390 and rear axles as 11,080 and 11,080 making total GVW 31,550. But we all know that the military way under rates things. What is the actual axle rating from the...
