They sell these at NAPA (you have to look for them). I used it for my accessory plug.
ATC Fuse "ADD-A-CIRCUIT"
EDIT- After you install an accessory plug you can buy a three way for multiple accessories. The CB should be wired on it's own with a inline fuse.
It wouldn't hurt to change the card and may eliminate problems. The GP controller is under the dash on the left side of the steering wheel. I am probably getting one after I get done with my receiver hitch and saving the old one for doomsday.
My BATT GEN voltage indicator drops to...
I looked and my M1008 was made in 04/85. I looked at the lines and cannot find a number anywhere. I have no leaks, so should I be worried, or is this a non-problem for my truck?
For proper forum etiquette you should start another topic on this as we are hijacking the original. If you change the GP wait light it is the one on the left of the two lights as you face the instrument cover. When you take off the cover they are attached at the top.
Start a new topic about...
Probably not, but maybe the wait light bulb is burned out. It is attached to the instrument panel cover and easy to change. I am sure you will be told to trouble shoot with the TM's. aua Of course you will or this thread cannot move forward. :D
You better read this if you are using ether...
Check the IP wire connections just in case. It happed to me once and my truck would not start after running great. And get rid of the ether as it is very bad for your engine.

The best thing you can do if you buy the 60g's is change the connectors at the same time. I used the insulated type and have had no problems like I read here on the forum. The existing connectors may be 25 years old and not make a good connection.
I am getting a Draw-Tite class 5 hitch soon with a brake controller and 7 pin plug. I see trailers all year long on a overloaded hitch going down the road. Not me.
I used V-Force mufflers from Pro Flo Performance Exhaust and 2 1/2 inch pipes. It got kind of pricey, but I don't slow down on hills anymore. Dual mufflers and dual exhaust pipes done buy a shop, $647. They give me a low rumble sound. The military had a mixture of different size exhaust...
I got new Pro Comp wheels and All-Terrain T/A KO BFG tires today. Are the wheels too shiny? Gloss is all they had in 16X7 8X6.5 and I wanted to keep the stock size. I might have them painted, but I am looking for other comments.
I put 60g's in my stock M1008 and only changed the connectors to the insulated ones of the right size. I have had zero problems, even in the cold.
I have become a strong believer in not changing things that are stock unless it is a part replacement of like kind or an improvement. It seems to...
The last time I traced the wire it seemed to disappear in with a bunch of other wires. I just traced it again and it is the radio wire. I will be adding a fuse when I get my new radio. There is another light green wire that was throwing me off. Thanks!
:jumpin:
I found this for the lime green wire in TM 9-2320-289-20 (4-12. CAB FLASHERS AND FUSES REPLACEMENT.)
10. 30 amp Gas-Particulate Filter Unit (GPFU) and Air
Conditioner Fuse

I have a few questions about my M1008A1.
There seems to be a additional 2 prong slave plug connector in the bed of the truck. Is that what it is?
I also have a lime green wire to the fuse box that looks like it's that color for a reason and no idea what it is for. The only accessories...
I just got into the cowl and behind the air vents and it is clean. I think I will try all new rubber for the door first. I see no reason how or why water would be coming from the cowl area.
On a side note, the more I look into my truck, the more I like the simplicity of the truck.
