Why are you putting such a heavy axle with a differential under an m105? The OEM axle on an M105 seems very heavy and there are many different wheel options, like the super singles from an m35A3 to get 20" or 16.5" bolster wheels with HMMWV tires,.....to the Isuzu budds in 19.5".
The OEM...
I have to ask Jbulach, looks like the battery switch is not switching the line to the starter. Is that correct and does it keep the high amps from cranking from going through the switch?
Yea
Yea, with SS management just deleting the offending account, it takes away our ability to go back and get their communications that went through SS.....and in my case, SS didn't give me a heads up although looking at the PM would shown who they had contacted.
The 1400CCA 8D is massive battery. O Reilly just quoted $205 each (I have account). They are large enough that the wood underneath has to be removed. It's the best deal going in my opinion with massive cca.
My hawkers seem to have no reserve and the conditioning charger does not work on mine...
Let me get this clear, the hubs are set up with the flange in the wide position for duels but you have one half budd dual on it and no outer wheel. As opposed to the flange set up in the narrow position, flange against the drum......which I don't think will accept the budd with the dish in...
It's been a long time since I had my 817 apart, it was installed as a new replacement tc and had never had the bearings set up right. I have debated before about the sprag, thinking there is one direction or the other, but no neutral. Can you see to clarify that.....like the shift cylinder has...
Don't get too hasty. Come to Rochester and we can talk trucks. I've had 809 series and have an m35A3 under construction with a 3116.
Keeping the 5 ton is double the weight of a deuce and if you are willing to drop an axle, a deuce can come close to 10k#. With 395s, it's still a massive...
I don't know if all Ace Hardwares have the Valspar line of paints or if they have the same paints that are selling at sale price, but it may be worth a trip to see. Ours is liquidating some stock at 70% off.
They (my local store) has light and medium base exterior flat, but no neutral for the...
Big companies are like that. They don't want dumped parts showing up on the market. They appear the same as a lot of trucks, but I don't know the details.
A supplier got rid of some inventory of brand new tie rods, with both ends to a scrap yard. The owner said he would sell me a few but they had to be destroyed.....so I cut them in half.
I have a few of the tie rod ends, I think They made me cut the rod in half to get them...some company dumped several new ones many moon back and I have had them in my old bus. There is a right and left I think too.
Isuzu budd 17.5", 19.5" and 22.5 are out there but the height OD on the 17.5 and 19.5 is only about 30-31". I've picked up a few for M105 axles but of course the 6 x 8.75 fits deuce too. Maybe the 22.5 is an alternative that would be higher on a truck (don't have any). Also, they may be a...
I scored a set (6) of the Isuzu 6 lug Budd wheels and tires, 17.5 tubeless that should go on an m105 trailer or axle. I went ahead and committed, hoping to find a use. Earlier I bought 6 of the same but 19.5" for a tandem trailer. I'll probably turn this to a "for sale" but couldn't pass up a...
M715mike....yes......just like that. Great looking truck. There is only one thing I would do different which is to have a slightly shorter distance from the rear axle to the pintle hitch (and I would put a gooseneck ball under the bed plate). I like the cargo bed cut down too and you don't...
