ITS THE MOST EXPENSIVE swap you can do. its all custom fabrication , definatly not for beginners IMO hard to beat a good stock small block chevy. no it doesnt get 25mpg but its a weekend swap and just about anybody can do it.
a 42+ yr old vehicle in the shape this is in IMO the price is reasonable. the m715 crowd wants everything for next to nothing seems like and its a favorite vehicle to bugger up also seems like. some folk think of wild ways to " fix " them in reality its totally not the case.

You have to completely remove the entire mount assembly from the back of the transmission. bet the bolts that hold the large steel mount to trans are already loose..... anyway unbolt it from the crossmember completely the put a jack under the trans and lift it up just enough to see room undre...

also dont forget a large resivour and a cooler for fluid. a p/s pump doesnt have enough capicity and when worked with a winch it will boil fluid very easy. no cheap way to do this correctly imo also why a 20k winch that is one heavy bugger 5/8 or 3/4" cable.... like a duse or larger
also belt drives are problem prone when you put a big load on them like a hi-gpm pump will do. IMO do it right and be done with it so you can depend on it when you need it.
just a thought

ITS YOUR FUEL SYSTEM............. install a remote fuel tank, clean your filters. if it rund good then pull stock main tank and fing the problem area. bet its the sock at the end of the fuel pickup tube. if it was your ignition syst. it would act up at all rpm,s.
its not cavitation its electrolisis and it pits the outside of the cylinder linners and will eat plum through the cylinders if you dont keep your acidity level at the right level. its the worst in the middle between each cylinder to cylinder. you can get test kits at any semi truck parts house...
